Hi - I'm Melissa!
As a military child and wife, I'm an expert at navigating changes in life. In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am clergy in the United Methodist Church. I believe faith should be a source of healing not harm, and can be integrated into a mental health plan. I've lived with depression and perfectionism and know how hard it can be to seek the help you need to find peace, and to learn to love yourself.
I am passionate about journeying with you during the difficult times and giving you the tools you need to become the person you want to be.
Am I a good fit for you?
I specialize in providing counseling for life transitions, grief and loss, difficult relationships, and emotional overwhelm. With a compassionate approach, I aim to address the mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of individuals seeking healing and growth.
Strengths-Based Affirmative Counseling
I strive to create a safe, sacred space for all individuals, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or socioeconomic status. All are welcome and treated with respect and dignity.
