The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not 'get over' the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered.

Grief and loss are universal, but your journey through it is uniquely yours.  There are no right or wrong ways to grieve, and loss is not something you "get over" but something that you need to incorporate into your life and who you are.  It is a journey with many twists and turns, that sometimes feels like it will never end and sometimes sneaks up on you when you thought the journey was over.  I can help you make sense of your emotions, have compassion for the pain instead of trying to fight it, and be a companion through the darkness until you're able to emerge into the light and create a new normal for yourself.  I'm comfortable sitting with pain, even when friends and family are telling you to move on - this is your journey and we'll take it at your pace, and we'll we get you through this together.
